Christmas is approaching and you haven’t got all your presents together yet? No problem, we’ve picked out three places for you that are ideal for a Christmas shopping trip. Our favorite districts for shopping have a lot of charm and there are numerous beautiful stores, bars and cafés to discover, a few of which we would like to introduce to you.
1. the Südstadt
There are charming boutiques and cute little stores around Chlodwigplatz that invite you to browse. For anyone looking for individual gifts. Südstadt also scores with stores that focus on sustainability, such as Green Guerillas or LANIUS. There are also many cute cafés that offer hot drinks to go. So: grab your loved ones and stroll through the beautiful alleyways of Südstadt.
2nd Belgian Quarter
For all those who are looking for something special and are happy to dig deeper into their pockets. High-quality boutiques and trendy stores can be found around Brüsseler Platz. Our highlights are SCHEE for artistic prints and gifts and Fairfitters, which offers cool sustainable fashion. Brüssler Platz is also a meeting place for many students, so there’s always a good atmosphere here. Our favorite bar in the district? The Little Link Bar. Here you can warm up with a hot drink after your shopping trip.
3. Ehrenstraße
Ehrenstraße has pretty much everything your heart desires and you don’t have to dig too deep into your pockets for it. And yet the hip shopping mile between Friesenplatz and Rudolfplatz is full of charm. For homeware, we like to browse at Granit, and the sweet Kauf Dich Glücklich also offers beautiful gift ideas. There are also cute cafés here, such as Café de Paris. Ideal for a little refreshment and a delicious drink to go.
We hope you enjoy your leisurely shopping.
